Texas Tech Red Raiders Suspend Head Coach Mike Leach after player complains about treatment, Will Not Coach in Alamo Bowl
Texas Tech announced Monday afternoon that it has suspended head football coach Mike Leach after a player’s parents complained to the school about the treatment of their son after he sustained an injury. Leach is currently being investigated by the school.
While the investigation is taking place, defensive coordinator Ruffin McNeill assume duties as interim coach for the team’s game against Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl on Jan. 2.
