The weakened Big 12 has been more of a walk through the park, than a challenge for Texas this season.

Since they beat Oklahoma last month, the third-ranked Longhorns have hardly been tested in conference play in their march to the Bowl Championship Series title game on Jan. 7.

Texas was expected to romp Thursday night against Texas A&M, questions about whether it deserves to play in the B.C.S. championship game may be as loud as they have been all season after the Longhorns escaped with a wild 49-39 win in front of 84,671 fans at Kyle Field.
